Poly ships have always and will always be welcome in this exchanges as it clearly states in the rules. No one is getting away with anything; a poly ship containing two people who are part of a popular ship is not the same thing as the popular ship. We are aware that our name is a bit of a misnomer. That does not make poly ships any less welcome. If poly ships aren't your thing, simply don't request or offer them.
