Giving Treats

As someone asked about treats, we felt it was time to make a post on the subject. For those of you that unfamiliar with the concept, treats are fics that someone writes (generally based on public letters to the author or seeing the request on the pinch hit list) that are done on a voluntary basis and not part of any official assignment.

We definitely welcome people writing treats. For organization purposes we ask that you do not post them to the main collection but instead post them here.

When fics are revealed in the main collection on September 3rd, we will put up a post with everyone's signups, so you can browse them for treat ideas. Fics in the treat collection will not be revealed until September 9th. Authors for both the main and treat collection will be revealed on September 14th. You are welcome to continue posting treats to the collection even after the fest has ended.
