If that's the case, then when I nominated Peter Quill/Tony Stark for Marvel, I did not just mean MCU. I understand though if it's taken out because there was only ONE person who wanted it, and therefore no one would be able to gift for it. But... there's my contest to this.

I don't know if it's a bug, but in NCIS: Los Angeles there's two tags for the same pairing: Kensi Blye/G Callen/Sam Hanna (NCIS:LA) and Kensi Blye/G Callen/Sam Hanna (NCISLA). (Five of pairings listed in that fandom are my nominations and they go with NCIS: LA, and the rest seems to go with NCISLA.)

1. I noticed in at least Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, though I don't know if I occurs anywhere else. Someone nominated a pairing of Fandom Charcter/Original Character. Like in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter it is Henry Sturges/Original Male Character(s). How does having an original character in the pairing make it a rare pair??

1.) When we created this fest we hadn't thought about the possibility of nominations for original characters, so it kind of shocked us when we first saw a pairing with it nominated. However, there's no rule against it, and we really can't argue that it's not a rare pair (in most cases), so nominations with original characters are typically allowed.

For Transformers, G1, there's a whole COMM on LJ for Starscream/Skyfire (screamforthesky) and for inferno/red alert (redxinferno) so I'm pretty sure they'd be ineligible. These comms have been around for ages.

Having a pairing specific community doesn't preclude a pairing. Also neither comm is particularly large. Their numbers on ff.net and ao3 falls below the cut off, so they seem to be safe.

Logan/Tony Stark is in the MCU section, but I'm unaware of any Logan in the MCU? I assumed, on first seeing the pairing, that the Logan intended was Logan Howlett|Wolverine, in which case the pairing would fit in Marvel-616.

The Adventures of Brisco County Jr has both "Pete Hutter/Aaron Viva" and "Pete Hutter/Sherif Aaron Viva" listed. The character's name is Aaron Viva. Sheriff is his job title.

I suppose this is now too late, but since I wasn't online yesterday, I only just spotted a point of confusion in the Sherlock (TV) category:

Sebastian Moran as a character is rather dubious here because he has for years essentially been a fandom creation based on the character of the same name in the original stories. A "Lord Moran" has indeed appeared shortly in the recent series of the TV show, but he has no official first name. "Sebastian Moran" is most likely meant to be the fandom OC who is vastly different from the series' "Lord Moran."
