1. I noticed in at least Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, though I don't know if I occurs anywhere else. Someone nominated a pairing of Fandom Charcter/Original Character. Like in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter it is Henry Sturges/Original Male Character(s). How does having an original character in the pairing make it a rare pair??

1.) When we created this fest we hadn't thought about the possibility of nominations for original characters, so it kind of shocked us when we first saw a pairing with it nominated. However, there's no rule against it, and we really can't argue that it's not a rare pair (in most cases), so nominations with original characters are typically allowed.
