There seems to be some tag migration going on in the Tolkien fandoms.

-Aredhel/Eöl (Silmarillion) has wandered into The Lord of the Rings - J. R. R. Tolkien.

-Berúthiel/Original Female Character(s) (LoTR) has wandered into the Silmarillion.

-Legolas Greenleaf/Tauriel and Thranduil/Thranduil's Wife have wandered into multiple fandoms, but I'm not sure where they were meant to go originally.

Hi! I have an issue with one of my nominations. I nominated 'Yekatarina II Alekseyevna | Catherine II of Russia/Stanisław August Poniatowski' under Historical RPF and it has been changed to Russian Royalty RPF. I can see how Historical RPF might have been considered too broad a category, though I chose it because I was still considering other historical ships in other centuries). I would not be complaining about it being changed to 18th Century CE RPF or Eastern European Historical RPF or Central and Eastern European Historical RPF or even European Royalty RPF. However, I do have an objection to it being Russian Royalty RPF. Poniatowski was was not Russian royalty, nor even Russian at all, so this is rather misleading. Moreover, during his reign, Poland-Lithuania was partitioned and part of it taken over by Russia, so the suggestion that the area was in some way rightfully Russian before this occurred gives rise to an immediate historical-political double take.

Sorry, we did feel it was too broad. That was one of the parent fandom tags for the ship which is why we went with it. Which would you prefer out of the ones you list?

Thank you! My preference would be for 18th Century CE RPF first, or if not, a localised history tag, say (Central and) Eastern European Historical RPF. I'd prefer not having Royals in the fandom tag because when they met and first had an affair, Poniatowski was not a royal.
